When I do backpacking everything is on a budget. I was glad to find this eatery right across the jeepney terminal in Virac, Catanduanes.
Fried Galunggong (Mackerel Scad) + rice + soup + bagoong (fermented shrimp/fish paste) for lunch.
There are three kinds of bagoong to choose from!
